Success Story

If you watched the ADT Championship 2006, LPGA player
Il Mi Chung(Age 34) shot 9 under par after 3 rounds which was enough to be the number one qualifier for the 8 player final. She didn't win the one million dollar first prize, but she engraved her name on every one's mind who watched the tournament.

I started to teach her at the end of July 2006, a week before the Weetabix Women's British Open, where she shot 72, 71, 75, 73 to tie for 16th place.

Following week, at the CN Canadian Women's Open, her score was 68, 74, 72, 70 and she tied for 8th place.

After a few more lessons, at the State Farm Classic she shot 67, 66, 70, 69, she was in the last group on the last day.  Annika Sorenstam shot 10 under on the last day and won. Chung tried to make birdie on the last hole to force a playoff with Annika, but she made bogey instead and tied for 3rd place.

At the Long Drugs Challenge she shot all under par 71, 71, 69, 69 and finished in 9th place.

I have been teaching her Jim Hardy's One Plane Swing to correct her from "chasing the target line" follow through (which is most golfer's habit) to "on plane" follow through. And it made the difference for her.

Mindy Kim(age 18) won her first Duramed Futures Tour  at Mercedes Benz of Kansas City Championship.  I started to teach her one plane swing at end of December 2007 and It was her first wire to wire victory as Professinal.

She eventually won 3 tour championships and qualified  for LPGA Tour for 2009 automatically.
